In the event that Solkinis or Guangzhou Yi Fu Network Technology Co., Ltd. undergoes a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or part of its assets, your personal data may be transferred to the acquiring party as part of that transaction. We will notify you by email and update this policy before any such transfer affects your data.

All third-party service providers that access your personal data are required by contract to process it only on our instructions, to implement appropriate security measures, and not to use it for any other purpose.

7

International Data Transfers

Solkinis is operated from China, and our primary servers are located via Shopify's infrastructure (Canada and the United States). When you place an order with us, your personal data is transferred from your country to China and/or to Shopify's servers. This means your data may be processed outside the country where you live.

We take the following steps to ensure your data is protected during international transfers:

UK Customers
Transfers of your data outside the UK are protected by standard contractual clauses (SCCs) approved by the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), or by relying on adequacy decisions where applicable.

Your personal data is transmitted securely using industry-standard encryption (TLS/HTTPS). Our service agreements with Shopify and other US-based processors include data processing addenda aligned with applicable US state privacy laws.

Shopify's data hosting infrastructure is certified to ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II standards, providing a high level of technical security for data processed through our store. You can learn more in Shopify's Privacy Policy.

Your Rights — United States

If you are a resident of California or another US state with applicable privacy laws (including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, or others), you have the following rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and equivalent state laws:

Right to Know
You may request that we disclose what personal information we collect about you, the purposes for which it is used, the categories of third parties with whom it is shared, and the specific pieces of data we hold.
Right to Delete
You may request that we delete personal information we have collected about you, subject to certain exceptions permitted by law (such as completing a transaction you initiated, detecting security incidents, or complying with a legal obligation).
Right to Correct
You may request that we correct inaccurate personal information we hold about you. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to fulfil verified correction requests.
Right to Opt Out of Sale / Sharing
Solkinis does not sell your personal information for monetary consideration. We do share limited data with advertising platforms (Google, Meta) for targeted advertising, which may constitute "sharing" under CPRA. You may opt out of this at any time by adjusting your cookie preferences.
Right to Limit Sensitive Data Use
We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined under CPRA (such as financial account credentials, precise geolocation, racial or ethnic origin, health data, or biometric identifiers). This right is therefore not applicable to our standard data practices.
Right to Non-Discrimination
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights. We will not deny you goods or services, charge you different prices, or provide a reduced level of service because you exercised a right under CCPA/CPRA.

How to exercise your rights: Submit a verifiable consumer request by emailing customercare@solkinis.com or by using our Privacy Request Form. We will respond within 45 days of receiving your request. If we need more time (up to 90 days total), we will notify you. We may ask you to verify your identity before processing your request. You may authorise an agent to submit a request on your behalf; in that case we will require written proof of authorisation.

California residents may also submit complaints to the California Privacy Protection Agency (CPPA) or the California Attorney General's Office.

Your Rights — Canada

If you are located in Canada, your personal information is protected under the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where applicable, provincial privacy legislation (such as Quebec's Law 25 / Law 64). You have the following rights:

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, the purposes for which it is used, and a description of the third parties to whom it may have been disclosed. We will respond to access requests within 30 days.
Right to Correction
If you believe that personal information we hold about you is inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date, you may request that we amend it. We will correct the information and, where appropriate, send the corrected information to any third parties who received it.
Right to Withdraw Consent
Where we collect and use your personal information based on your consent (for example, marketing emails), you may withdraw that consent at any time by emailing us or clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. Withdrawal of consent will not affect processing that occurred before withdrawal.
Meaningful Consent
Under PIPEDA and Quebec Law 25, we are required to obtain meaningful and informed consent before collecting, using, or disclosing your personal information. We explain our data practices in plain language and do not use pre-ticked boxes or bundled consent for optional purposes.
CASL — Commercial Emails
We comply with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation. We only send commercial electronic messages to Canadian recipients who have given express or implied consent as defined by CASL. Every commercial message we send includes an unsubscribe mechanism that takes effect within 10 business days.
Filing a Complaint
If you believe your privacy rights under PIPEDA have been violated, you may file a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (OPC) at priv.gc.ca.

How to exercise your rights: Email customercare@solkinis.com or use our Privacy Request Form. We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days and respond in full within 30 days.

If you are located in Australia, your personal information is protected under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the thirteen Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). Your rights and our obligations under the APPs include:

APP 3 — Collection of Solicited Data
We only collect personal information that is reasonably necessary for our functions as an online retailer. We do not collect more data than we need.

This Privacy Policy constitutes our notification of collection as required by APP 5. We inform you at the point of collection what information is being collected and why.
APP 6 — Use and Disclosure
We use and disclose your personal information only for the primary purpose for which it was collected, or for related secondary purposes that you would reasonably expect.
APP 12 — Access to Information
You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you. We will provide access within a reasonable time (ordinarily 30 days) and in the format requested where practicable. In limited circumstances access may be refused; we will explain any refusal in writing.
APP 13 — Correction
If you believe personal information we hold about you is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant, or misleading, you may request correction at any time. If we disagree that correction is warranted, we will provide a written explanation and allow you to append a statement of correction.
Spam Act 2003 — Emails
We only send marketing emails to Australian recipients with their consent. Every commercial message we send identifies Solkinis clearly and contains a functional unsubscribe mechanism. We do not send emails to address lists purchased from third parties.

How to exercise your rights: Email customercare@solkinis.com or use our Privacy Request Form. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

Your Rights — United Kingdom

If you are located in the United Kingdom, your personal data is protected under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. You have the following rights, which you may exercise at any time free of charge:

Right of Access (Article 15)
You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you and information about how we process it. We will provide a Subject Access Request response within one calendar month of receiving a verified request.
Right to Rectification (Article 16)
You may request that we correct any inaccurate personal data we hold about you and complete any incomplete data.
Right to Erasure (Article 17)
You may request that we delete your personal data where it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, where you have withdrawn consent, or where there is no other lawful basis for processing. Exceptions apply where we are required to retain data by law.
Right to Restriction (Article 18)
You may request that we restrict processing of your personal data in certain circumstances — for example, while you contest its accuracy, or while an objection is assessed.
Right to Data Portability (Article 20)
Where processing is based on your consent or a contract with you and is carried out by automated means, you may request that we provide your personal data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, or that we transmit it directly to another controller where technically feasible.
Right to Object (Article 21)
You may object at any time to processing of your personal data based on legitimate interests, including profiling for direct marketing purposes. We will stop such processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests.
Rights Related to Automated Decisions
You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing — including profiling — that produces legal or similarly significant effects concerning you. Solkinis does not currently make any such automated decisions.
Right to Withdraw Consent
Where we process your data on the basis of your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal.

How to exercise your rights: Email customercare@solkinis.com or use our Privacy Request Form. We will respond within one calendar month. If we need more time (up to three months total), we will let you know within the first month and explain why. We do not charge a fee for responding to rights requests unless they are manifestly unfounded or excessive.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. The ICO's helpline number is 0303 123 1113.

Security of Your Personal Data

We take the security of your personal data seriously and implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect it against accidental loss, unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Specific measures include:

SSL/TLS Encryption
All data transmitted between your browser and solkinis.com is encrypted using industry-standard TLS (HTTPS). Your personal and payment data is never transmitted in plain text.
PCI DSS Compliance
Payment processing is handled by Shopify Payments and PayPal, both of which are certified to PCI DSS Level 1 — the highest standard for payment card security. We never store payment card data on our own systems.
Access Controls
Access to customer data within our organisation is restricted to personnel who need it to perform their job functions. All staff with access to customer data are subject to confidentiality obligations.
Shopify Platform Security
Our store is hosted on Shopify, which maintains ISO 27001 certification and SOC 2 Type II compliance. Shopify conducts regular security audits and penetration testing of its infrastructure.

Despite these measures, no method of data transmission over the internet is completely secure. If you suspect that your account has been compromised or that your personal data has been involved in a security incident, please contact us immediately at customercare@solkinis.com or +86 134 1350 2606.

In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify you and the relevant supervisory authority (ICO for UK customers; OAIC for Australian customers; OPC for Canadian customers) within the timeframes required by applicable law — 72 hours for UK GDPR-covered incidents.

14

Children's Privacy

Solkinis is an online store intended for use by adults aged 18 years and older. Our products — women's swimwear, bikinis, and beach accessories — are designed for adult consumers. We do not knowingly collect, solicit, or process personal information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the United Kingdom).

If you are under 18, you may not create an account or place an order on solkinis.com without the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. By using our website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age.

If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under the applicable minimum age, we will delete that information from our records promptly. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at customercare@solkinis.com so we can take appropriate action. This policy is consistent with our obligations under the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the UK GDPR, and equivalent laws in other jurisdictions.

15

Third-Party Links & Services

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, social media platforms, or services that are not operated by us. Examples include links to shipping carrier tracking pages, payment processors, and social media platforms. When you click on one of these links, you leave solkinis.com and your visit to the third-party website is governed entirely by that website's own privacy policy.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of third-party websites. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of every website you visit. The inclusion of a link on solkinis.com does not constitute our endorsement of the linked website or its privacy practices.

Social media buttons and share features on our website (for example, Instagram and Facebook) may also allow third-party social networks to collect information about your visit even if you do not click those buttons, depending on your social media account settings. Please review the privacy settings and policies of any social media platform you use.

16

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We review this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our business operations, applicable law, or regulatory guidance. When we make changes, we update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, where the changes are material, notify customers who hold an active account with us by email.

Material changes — such as a change in the purpose for which we use your data, a new category of data we collect, a new third party with whom we share your data, or a change to the legal basis on which we rely — will be communicated clearly and with reasonable notice before they take effect. For UK customers, where a change would require a new legal basis for processing, we will seek fresh consent if required by UK GDPR.

Your continued use of solkinis.com after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy. If you disagree with any changes, you may close your account and stop using our website at any time.
